Executive lounge and reception area. The most-used part of the floor, and the only area with genuine public-area loads. Seating here needs comfort for extended dwell and a frame that survives constant re-arrangement. Tables must tolerate glassware, and finishes must resist cleaning chemistry.
Meeting and boardroom-adjacent space. Long sit times, heavy chairs, cable and power integration. Here the load is on the chair mechanism and the table structure rather than on the decorative surface.
Executive suite living area. Lower physical wear, higher visual standard. Veneer matching, upholstery alignment and seam direction are the details that decide acceptance.
Suite sleeping area. Nightly use with long contact hours. The stress sits in bed frames, wardrobe mechanisms and nightstand hardware rather than in the visible finish, and these are the items whose failure is most disruptive to a guest's stay.
Connecting corridors and waiting positions. Small quantities, high foot traffic. Impact protection and cleanable surfaces matter more than comfort.
Two further points apply across the whole floor. First, the split between front-of-house and back-of-house cleaning is rarely as clean as the plan suggests; suites are serviced on a housekeeping cycle that is both fast and chemical-heavy, so every surface has to tolerate the products already in use without special handling or staff training.
